Black bar on Cairo, no more min/max/close buttons, most applications don't work

So I recently purged transmission out of my distribution, because it kept freezing for no reason. But long story short, there is now a black bar on my Cairo dock, I no longer have min/max/close icons on my windows, I can't even post a screenshot, because my PrintScrn button doesn't even work. Alt-tab doesn't work, alt-f4 doesn't work, so I have no wait of closing windows. My terminal works on some restarts, which is good.

Black bar? Change setting in background, click on darkened boxes and change opacity.
Use the help provided for other settings you may have changed like min/max. You may find that in your menu.
The Applications that do not work, remove the icons and replace them from Application Finder.

Also check to see if desktop effects are enabled GLX dock can display a black background around the dock area without desktop effects enabled.
