Got a big problem...

I wanted to listen to my mp3's while on kubuntu, but then amarok said that i need some of those plugins or packages... but i don't have an internet connection except that VMC modem that i'snt working on linux :( can anyone help me getting those packages for kubuntu to download ?

You could install install the free version of VirtualBox from Oracle then install an Ubuntu machine in it, finally install the updates for Amarok in it but keep the downloads and instruction copied, to do again in the other.
