I've just purchased an OKI 5430dn printer to replace my old 5400dn.
The two printers use basically the same technology, and according to OKI the old
PDF file can be used. There's also a new one for the SE5430dn, but it's identical to the one used for two other printers, so the name is not evident: OKC530_a.ppd.

The problem regarding this printer is that when in power save mode, it won't start.
It must be switched off and then on manually. Pressing the Power Save switch can sometimes help.

There's also another strange problem:
When using OpenOffice, the printer usually starts OK, but when printing it cuts off
about 2cm of margin at the top. This doen's happen when converting to PDF and printing from the PDF format. However, many times the printer won't print the PDF files. It just accepts the data, displays "PROCESSING" and then goes back idle.

This is medium-prized color laser printer, intended for medium volume use.
I use it quite heavily. Having to boot Windows to print is a BITCH.
This is very frustrating.

Can anyone help?
(BOTH 9.10 and 10.10 have the same problem.)
