The above website (Easeus)has a free program called ToDo Backup ....Look at the 3rd paragraph and see a reference to Linux that I have never seen on a Windows based website...Funny.

They do mention it but more with a dart to why their useless product is better. :) I say useless as I would never make use of it, nor recommend it. :KS

With that ad..I just wonder how many Windows people use the live cd...I know I did it about a year ago to mount and rescue my daughter;s kids pictures from their defective hard drive ( it crashed)

HAHAHA! The lies are fantastic. Pretty sure Linux Live CDs support Hardware RAID.

Also, pretty sure a LiveCD does not require installation, and allows mounting of various partitions and backup of data on those partitions.

Of course it won't display a drive letter, but that's pretty much meaningless outside of the particular configuration within a given Windows system anyway.

they support win7 and the pictures look like the WinXP GUI :P

i'd bet that thing would mess up your system like you wouldn't believe, call it intuition.

Oh the lies! Some of those are actually really funny...

"Requires installing"... They even mention "bootable CDs" on another page.

I sent them a e-mail to ask why they have to INSTALL a Linux bootable CD, and why they think that a Linux Live CD can not mount a harddrive...Will see what they reply is.

You have to be able to sue for false advertising on this one.

Even if they wanted to, the cost would be higher than the benefit. I see no problems with them saying that really.

Well, I do see a problem with that...Any windows lover going to this web site and not really understanding of having the desire to read up or even try to use linux will now solidify his/her previously uneducated thoughts about what they think about linux..Now reading the comments on this web page will leave a bad taste in their mouth..Yes, I do have a problem with it.
