hi guys! :D

I have a public folder with permissions 777 set by acl.
That's the only public folder of my system and I would like it to have a different icon in nautilus.

I tried to change it by right-clicking on it, selecting properties and clicking on its button-icon on the top left.
But I noticed:
1. this only affects the user logged in.
I would like to select a new icon once as default icon for that folder, in order that all users already created or future users can see this folder with a different icon.
Is that possible?

2. it doesn't work for the root user
opening a root session of nautilus (alt+f2 and typing gksu nautilus) and doing the same of above (right-clicking on it, selecting properties and clicking on the folder button-icon on the top left) has no effect.
Is there a way to change a folder icon for ANY user (included root)?

many many thanks in advance for any help :P
