Hi

I have only one question. i have laptop with 2gb RAM, 300 gb of hard disk. i have 4 partitions in the following order:

/dev/sda1 = personal data
/dev/sda2 = SWAP
/dev/sda3 = personal data
/dev/sda4 = Ubuntu

I am asking if the Ubuntu partition should be in place of /dev/sda1 instead of /dev/sda4? Is there any problem that Ubuntu partition is in the last place and SWAP in the second? Should it be more organized?

Thx for help

No, that should be fine. Are you having problems?

thx for answer

No, i don't have any problem but somewhere i read that Ubuntu partition and SWAP should be in the first two places. They said that it is faster, i think. My computer is not slow but i thought that by repartioning the disk the Ubuntu would be even faster.

So thx for help. I consider it as SOLVED.

thx

I'm sure things are fine as they are :-)
I have 3 Ubuntu installations. They can't all be at the beginning of the disc :-)
They all work fine.
