Hey, just doing another opinion post:

Anyone that has worked some of the Workforce positions in a call center; what apps would you suggest for the management needs?
I am specifically talking about stuff for ACD/PBX, call routing, scheduling, and tracking utilities.

Asterisk is probably the way to go. You can find a great how-to article here (http://www.mikesoares.com/guides/asterisk/).

Witness is available for Linux? Nice. Easy to play with stuff there.

Although, this post is so old...

We have deployed a completely Linux based call center here in Mumbai, India. The server works on Vicidial and the clients are using Ubuntu.
