controlling gnome through a giant mulit-touch display?

I would love to find something like this. I've got a hobby that would benefit from this as well. Maybe if there's not something out there already we could get something cooking...

I found this, it looks interesting. I don't think it would work too good for this specific project but it's definitely a start.
