I've noticed that Ubuntu dialog boxes tend to put the "decline" option to the left of the "proceed" option, and I love it!
What's strange is, doing a search online fails to come up with any kind of statement of design intent as to why Ubuntu does it this way.
It'd be nice for people to appreciate how Ubuntu is designed to work the way people work.
I love it because if I "just click to make the box go away" it is going to be on the "cancel" option, so nothing bad happens.
In Windows, the "proceed" option is usually to the left, so people would click it first and ask questions later.
I talk more about this here - http://nontechietalk.blogspot.com/2010/12/little-things-mean-lot.html
Has anyone else noticed this? Talk it up to your friends, it's just one more reason to love Ubuntu.
