Looking for a Start-Page Plugin/Application that uses RSS feeds

Hello all,

I am looking for a firefox plugin or other tool, that displays news about my RSS feeds and possible mailing list updates etc. I tried dynamic bookmarks from firefox and didn't like that.

http://www.feedly.com/ is a good example, but it uses google reader and facebook, both I dont really like...

Have you got an idea?

It supports OPML import.

If you are looking for a more traditional extension, I recommend Brief (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4578/).
