Hi, I have a desktop computer with ubuntu 10.10 (32-bit) and there is a display error that shows up consistently. Dragged objects do not automatically erase themselves from the display when you finish dragging. No matter what you do the text stays there until you either reboot or create another drag object which just replaces the old one. It always does this when I drag anything.
It does this with all dropdown menus too. If I try to display a dropdown menu it sometimes (yes, only sometimes) shows only the border and then it stays there. Whatever was in the background at the time it was made stays there, once again, until you reboot. Sometimes you can get rid of it if you go away from the menu for a second and then try to reopen it.
What do I do?
