Hey,

me and a mate, chrisy91 have been playin and getting to grips with ubuntu for the past few months and are finding it ace. the both of use are wanting to carry out a project using ubuntu server as the main system.

we are just wondering if u can help with any open source dropboxing software or source code and any suggestions for gui's and webservers that'll run our requirements.

please just ask for requirements and i will later post.

As quoted above myself and a mate are planning a server project and are researching best possible server OS's and every time Ubuntu Server is number 1. Yes its faster than other OS's but we are requiring a little more.

Below are what me and Chrisy91 are planning:

./GUIs --- Desktop, Remote and Web
./Services --- Web Server, Web Hosting, File Hosting

[[Software]]

./File Server --- Open Source Drop Boxing (Source Code for Server and Client)
./Web Server --- Ubuntu Base System or Bitnami OpenSource
./Web Host --- Unknown

Software, links and advice will be appreciated, including any suggestions you wish to make.
