hi
installed ubuntu on preinstalled windows7 hp notebookpc
windows7 not booted.
so i just use windows recovery cd and use some bootrec fixmbr commands
now i am unable to use both.
please reply

i have windowsrecovery cd and live ubuntu
3 partiotions ext4 and 3 partitions ntfs

Did u make partitions to ubuntu (Ext3,ext2,swap) ?
Do u have only 1 hard disk?
Tell all what u have and how u did it..details?

hi, I had the same problem. I have a Windows 7 that have been installed but when I want to dual boot with ubuntu 10 becoming a problem. when booting from the live cd ubuntu the message "no drives found, aborting installation"
please help me

U need to partition ur hard disk to ubuntu. It would be best if u have 2 hd.s.
