I've been trying to figure this out -- I'm running my Ubuntu Desktop (64-bit) as an FTP, SVN, and SSH server (perhaps not relevant except to indicate why I want to fix this) but after a few days the system becomes unresponsive and I can't figure out why (seems to boot fine). If I go back to 8.04, it works fine, but again after I upgrade to 10.04 or 10.10 (whether actual "upgrade", or fresh install -- same result) the computer no longer responds to login attempts or mouse/key strokes after a few days. The machine is definitely still on and running though (blank screen)... any ideas? I would very much appreciate any leads! Thank you so much ~
