Hi,

I have a weird problem. Exactly as the caption says, OpenOffice's quickstarter doesn't allow Maverick to shut down. Clicking the shut down button nothing happens. Quitting quickstarter then shut down and it is fine. It is a small annoyance to have to quit quickstarter manually when I want to shut down (which launches automatically when the OS starts) I would appreciate if someone can suggest a tweak.

P.S. Quickstarter for Libreoffice in my Lucid box doesn't exhibit this behaviour.

Well I know that since I was the one who enabled it in the first place. My question is really whether there is a way to use quickstarter without this slightly annoying side effect.
