Not sure what precipitated this but Administration and Preferences are missing from the System menu. Any ideas on how to get them back? I have to go through the Gnome menu to get to System, not sure how it got removed from the panel.

HELP!

Try right-clicking the "System" menu and choose "Edit Menus".
Then under "Menus:" (left sidebar) scroll down to "System" and click that.
Then under "Items:" tick the check marks next to "Preferences" and "Administration".
If it still doesn't show up, then that means you don't have any items ticked in their respective menus. So then under "Menus:" you would click "Preferences" or "Administration" and under "Items:" you would have to check at least one thing to make it active. I would have given a screen capture but these new headers are buggy so screen capture doesn't work for me and I deleted my old headers already.

If nothing still shows, then I don't know what else could be the problem.
