10.04 Lucid Update

I was running a normal update today and for the first time ever it has come up with a message saying the kernel packages being download loaded and install where not authentic??

It was kernel 2.6.32-26 that was trying to be installed.

Has anyone heard of this problem?? Does it mean my system has been compromised??

You are probably just getting a GPG error warning from your server.You could try changing servers in Software Sources to the Main Server and try again.

Open a terminal and post output of
sudo apt-get update

You need to open your Software Sources either in the Software Centre or Synaptic Package Manager and un-tick the repositories that are giving the problems.

Both are probably on the "Other Software" tab in Software Sources.

One is pointing to a Feisty Repository and the other top a PPA that doesn't have a distribution for Lucid.
