How do I eliminate all the extra linux headers that grub displays, I haven't use them for many months and I like to clean it up. Can I do this without turning Ubuntu upside down or causing other problems?? Thanks for your input.

You should keep one older one that you know will boot.
Uninstall extra kernels:-------------------------
In synaptic search for linux-image to choose to delete old ones

Thanks for the input. That did the trick, clean it all up. I wasn't planning to clean them all out. I left one other working one. Solved
