Hi all,
I have a bunch of hex files I need to search for text strings in hex files (from an address book backup). In 8.10 I could use the file search program from the "Places" menu to do this. Now, however, it doesn't matter what program I use - file search, recoll, tracker, Google Desktop - it won't find text contained in these files. (I can open them with Okteta and see the text I'm testing with.)
Is there a setting somewhere I don't know about?
