Exif Data Search/Filter

Hi. I currently need to find a way to manage and organize our small companies media files. EXIF Metadata and Tags seem to be a perfect solution since there are many tools out there to manage them.
But what is completely missing in my eyes is a way to search or filter by tags. Is there any software out there I am missing to search by exif data in supported files like PDF and JPG??

There is also Shotwell, gthumb, F-Spot, Digikam (KDE), Picasa (uses wine I think) to name a few.
