Hello Frnds,

I have purchased the magazine Linux For You (November Edtn) along with which they provided a CD of Sintel 3D movie of Blender Foundation.

I am using Dell Laptop having Windows Vista Home Premiun.

I am not being able to view the movie as the pictures r getting halted and evn the sound is breaking...

Quick Time player is installed in my laptop.

Pls suggest how to address this issue.

Definately capable of running the video. I ran it on lesser hardware.

Like the above poster said, try VLC Media player. (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html) Let us know if that works.

Vlc media player is unable to play the video. I am getting the following error msg:

VLC is unable to open the MRL 'dvd://F:\'. Check the log for details.
