The incoming chairman of the [U.S.] House Homeland Security Committee says WikiLeaks should be officially designated as a terrorist organization.
Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.), the panel's next head, asked the Obama administration today to "determine whether WikiLeaks could be designated a foreign terrorist organization," putting the group in the same company as Al Qaeda and Aum Shinrikyo, the Japanese cult that released deadly sarin gas on the Tokyo subway...

So telling the truth is an evil act akin to detonating roadside bombs and releasing poisonous gas in the subway?
It would seem that I am living in a waking nightmare. Someone put me out of my misery, lease!

I tend to agree. WikiLeaks is putting a lot of lives in danger, and there is absolutely no benefit to what they are doing. There aren't words that are allowed on this site to describe how I feel about the people behind WikiLeaks.

It's just more theater from a Freshman in Washington eager to get his name on something.
He's not a freshman - he's the incoming chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.

When you're doing it out of spite and willfully putting a lot of lives in danger, yes.

Sounds like the posturing and grand-standing of a mediocre mind.
That's dangerous stuff and an extremely slippery slope. Terrorism needs to be strictly defined. Wouldn't some men (and women) love it if they could paint their opposition (and perceived enemies) with the broad brush of terrorism. That's the path to another McCarthyism.

Can you tell me about one specific leak perpetrated by Wikileaks that willfully puts lives in danger please? Or are you just parroting what you've heard certain politicians say?
