I just got a brand new Asus Eee 1018p with windows 7 on it and I'm desperately trying to put UNR 10.04 on it. I did everything the Ubuntu website said to do since I've never done an install from windows before. In the bios I set the USB drive at the top of priority to boot from and set the USB drive as the primary hard drive.
After I did all the set up, I was presented with a menu I've never seen, no matter which option I selected and pressed enter on, nothing happened, other than on help. Under help all of the "F" button commands came up, asking me what to do. I pressed enter and got this message:
Could not find kernel image:/casper/vmlinuz
What does that mean and how do I get ubuntu on my computer?
