I'm pissed off at Half.com. It really isn't their fault, though. During my week or so without SUSE (http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/index.php?showtopic=35612), I got addicted to Lost through iTunes. I had to force myself to stop buying episodes. If I had continued and bought the entire season, I would have spent over $35. At BN.com, it's $41.99 for the entire season on DVD. As most of you probably know, iTunes may be convenient, but the videos can't go full screen without looking bad. Also, it's DRM'd. Can't watch it in Linux. In my opinion, it's more then worth spending the extra few dollars for the DVD's. Here's when it gets stupid on my part. I waited 4 days for PayPal to transfer money from my bank account. Then, being cheap, I looked on Half.com for good deals. I found one ALMOST brand new for 3 or 4 bucks less then B&N (counting shipping). For some reason, I went for it. Everything went smoothly until I got an email the morning after from Half.

Within the next TWO days?!? Guys - please give me some words of comfort. PayPal hasn't released the funds yet. It's still pending. I know it's only been a day, but how will this work? Will it complete the transaction and then send me a seperate refund, or will it just release my funds after 2 days?
I've learned my lesson. I made myself a new rule. If I'm not saving at least 10 dollars, no Half.com. As soon as this gets straightened out, I'm ordering it from BN.com.
