why would you want a credit card?

Because they come with good customer service, buyer protections, rewards, float, and money generated for charity. Building a solid credit profile will also lower the cost of borrowing elsewhere, such as on a mortgage. There's no problem as long as the bill is paid in full every month.

Agreed. I make all of my purchases on credit card. Even my 2$ purchases. The way I see it is if I'm going to be spending a certain amount of money anyways, why not get rewards for it and build credit rating at the same time.

I would love that credit card. Looks awesome.

Even if I wanted one, non-possible-

The Linux credit card is only available to U.S. residents.

Yet another 'US only' thing on the internet.....sometimes I wish there was a .us internet and one for the rest of the world.

Agreed
Too much usa-only sh*t on the net, like some websites or streamed videos.
We outsiders complain, but we're also free from that secret control us citizens are subject to, i think ;)
