Im trying to set my screen resolution 1680x1050. My monitor is capable of that.
Xfce4 settings manager doesnt change screen resolution. it has only one option : 1024x768
xrandr output:
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
Screen 0: minimum 1024 x 768, current 1024 x 768, maximum 1680 x 1050
default connected 1024x768+0+0 0mm x 0mm
1024x768 0.0*
1680x1050_60.00 60.0
when I try xrandr -s 1680x1050:
Failed to change the screen configuration!
Anyone know a solution to this?
