Hi,
I am having some trouble with the graphics card hardware displaying the correct one. I recently switched an ATI Radeon 9600 AGP card to a Nvidia GeForce 6200 AGP card.
The sysinfo program or 'lshw' in the terminal however still lists my graphics hardware as ATI. Even after a clean Ubuntu 10.04 install or running the live cd, the hardware still lists ATI. System>Administration>Hardware Drivers are blank in both cases.
I believe this is the reason why I have been unable to install Nvidia drivers successfully. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
