View Full Version : [kubuntu] Powerdevil missing profiles

When my battery gets to a low level it reports that profile "" is not in my configuration.

When I look at the settings the low and warning level dropdowns are blank and in profiles the only profiles are "powersave", "performance" and "presentation".

There used to be two other profiles - "extreme powersave" and something else (can't remember).

How do I get my profiles back?

I can't think what would have caused this since kubuntu has been working so well for so long I haven't needed to do any kind of fiddling other than regular updates.

I've noticed this too, but I see no one has replied.

OK I have solved this - at least with KDE 4.6.

If you go into System Settings and select Power Management, click "Edit Profiles" and click on "Restore default profiles".
