Hi,

I have a program that i have written that will only work on an older version of gcc (i think it is 3.x). Is there a way to install an older version of gcc to invoke it for certain programs and leave the newer one untouched for all the other programs ?

And if not, how to remove the current version and install the older version ?

thank you very much. i am downloading it now, i will see if i can set it up then i will get back with an update.

Update :
ok, i am done downloading. i have browsed through the documentation and it seems to be very well documented. But unfortunately it will take me about a day to read it all and install it. If anyone have a way that will speed things up for me i will appreciate it. Otherwise, i will see u guys tomorrow.
