Can't boot after update to 10.26

After update Ubuntu to 10.26 from 10.25...UpdateMgr asked to "restart". I did and since then I can't boot Ubuntu from my PC (Window Vista).

What happens when you boot? Any errors or just blank screen?

How is Ubuntu installed? True dual boot or using Wubi inside Windows?

It would be better if you could boot from a Live CD and post the output of bootinfoscript as per instructions here. It would know us in depth about your boot setup.

I suggest you follow the advice posted by sikander3786 and post the results of the boot info script.

It will tell us what is where and make troubleshooting and offering solutions much easier.
