Hi,
Having installed a prog via ubuntu software centre and subsequently removed it I noticed glitches in the notification area of the gnome panel (repeating and overlapping icons).
Now this happened before when I installed/uninstalled another program using apt-get so I think it may have something to do with certain gnome libraries or something being downloaded to satisfy dependencies. Or else a bug somewhere.
Managed to rebuild the panel and it seems ok now, but would like to nail this one so I can download stuff.
Anyone have similar?
