unity interface help

okay, i installed unity interface and it looks great. it reminds me of windows 7. theres one problem i have with it though. every time my mouse touches the 'dock' the whole screen flickers and then reloads the interface. once its reloaded, the windows and everything saves so i am glad of that. but this a major annoyance. plus i cant customize the dock like this.
any help?
