Very slow scrolling in Firefox

Hi all.

My firefox have very slow scrolling and scrolling freeze on many sites (sample (http://forum.sibnet.ru))

How I can fix that? Please, help...

Videocard: ATI radeon X550 (use open-source driver)

P.S.: In Opera browser all ok.

is compiz on? ATI cards show problems of scrolling when compiz is on. try turning off compiz by right cilcking on desktop click on 'change desktop backround' then go to the 'visual effects' tab and then click on 'none'

No. I don't use compiz.
