10.0.4 hang with libblkid.so_1 problem

I encountered the problem after I upgraded from 9.10 to 10.0.4. The error message is

libblkid.so.1: no version available(required by mount)
......
swap waiting for mount /dev/sda3
.....


Any suggestions?
