So, I can't login cause of this
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=10157500#post10157500
And even if I fix it, for some reason ubuntu has been very unreliable and unstable for me, and the issues will continue

I've backed up all the stuff on ubuntu that took awhile to install (and I know are functional), the other stuff I can just enter a series of "apt-get" to restore. I hope that reinstalling will rid me of all the mess I accumulated in my freshman attempt.

I heard some stuff about deleting the partion on window's disk manager and fixing the boot from windows CD, but I'm 90% sure I don't have a windows CD, it is refurbed from dell.

What's the easiest way to uninstall or reinstall 10.10?

I'm assuming you are dual-booting windows. Reinstalling Ubuntu on the same partition that you had it on originally will overwrite it. Just make sure that there is a check under the "Format" Column on the correct drive.
