I've got a new PC, with a blank hard-drive. I am wondering if I should download the latest Horay Array 5, or should I wait for the official version to come out? Or will I be able to update Horay Array 5 to the official version when it comes out?

If you are a new Linux user, I wouldn't suggest Horay, it's in development, and should only be used if you wanna help with development. You have to know your way around Linux.

You will be able to update to Ubuntu 5 "Hoary" when it comes out from 4.10 "Warty".

Wait at least untill the preview release cowboy. I'm in Hoary now. Its fun, but some stuff are broken.
