Cant install Ubuntu on my computer

I get a message under install:

[4294667.559000]Trying to set up timeras ExtINT IRQ... Failed
Kernel panic -- Not syncing: IO-APIC + timer doesn't work! Boot with apic=debug and send a report. Then try booting with the 'noapic' option

This happend on both CD's (Live and install cd)

Try adding noapic parameter as mentioned here.
