Hi guys,
I was having trouble installing Ubuntu because every time I tried installing it the part after the logo would turn into green gibberish on my screen. I managed to get it installed by using the nomodeset option.
Now I've got it installed and the GRUB bootloader is working just as it should. When I select Ubuntu to boot I get the same greenish gibberish when it tries to load the graphics system.
Is there a way to manually pass some options or parameters at GRUB so that I can get into the config files to make it boot successfully automatically?
Also, what sorts of changes would I have to make?
It's 10.04.1 Lucid LiveCD that I installed from.
EDIT: Replaced video card.
