i don't know how to make work
my external audio Terratec soundcard.
i have the last version of Ubuntu,
(and linux-sound-base in the newest version).

the system recognizes only the internal audio card,
but doesn't see the usb one that i need to use.

...help me ...

thanks.

Devices that are not supported will not work. The only way it will change is if you contact the manufacturer.

I can recommend a device that is supported if you'd like. If you sell it on somewhere like eBay you can buy a similar spec device and not lose much money.

Lots of recommendations on display here:

It depends on what ins/outs you need and whether you want USB, PCI or firewire.

Hello,

in case you didn't sell your card yet, I programmed a driver for alsa, it will be available (currently just as beta) very soon on http://sourceforge.net/projects/sixfireusb. If you still have it, you could contact me, since testing by as many users/with as many hardware as possible is always a great thing.
