I'm not exactly sure whether it fits in here (seeing as the Community Cafe is still full of tech-related topics) but just wanted to tell you guys about some excellent music I found a while ago (and it's Creative Commons-licensed of course :)):

The music is a tad... weird if you compare it to the regular music you buy on a CD, but if you like soundtrack-ish and instrumental music, it would be a good thing to check out. I found it's especially great to listen to when reading a book or writing something. My own favorites are the Ambient Symphony and Fairytale (1 + 2) albums.
While on the subject, for those who have listened to music on Jamendo before, what's your favorite music on there?

I have more pop sensibilities, so my favorite Jamendo artists are Julandrew, Mel's, and Eva Garcia.

Josh Woodward (http://www.jamendo.com/en/artist/joshwoodward) - By far my favorite CC artist; most of his music falls under the genre of pop rock. My favorite album of his so far is "The Simple Life" (http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/23755) but they are all good. I highly recommend him.
Jason Silver (http://www.jamendo.com/en/artist/Jason_Silver_(2)) - A Christian artist. He has a nice Christmas album (http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/56539) and I like his album "Seek" (http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/55245)
Fresh Body Shop (http://www.jamendo.com/en/artist/freshbodyshop) - They're pretty good. They have a rather unique style that you need to listen to to get a feel for. I like their album "Tasteless" (http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/9604) and I'm not alone...

If I may spam a little, I have my own work there:

I get a lot more plays there than on last.fm--not that I get many plays, amyway. :(
I love any site that promotes the free exchange of ideas through a copyleft mindset.

Thanks for the reminder, I haven't visited there in months. It's a great service for both artists and listeners.

Here are a few of my favourites:
My, Bubba & Mi: This lovely girl trio makes these übercool
folk/country/blues/jazz kind of love songs.
http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/63029
Check especially out the songs Steamengeene and Really Really.

Bella Ruse:
Beautiful and catchy, melodic and sweet... Who could ask for more?

Hold Me Close is one of the best songs...

icare:
The album "Empire of Lights, part II" is happysad melancholic pop. Not suitable
for nice summer days, but is an excellent choice for cold, dreary autumn
nights.

Madelaine Hart of Glastonbury fame, is a very talented singer/songwriter
from down under. She has made two really strong EPs:
