Most people here probably have computers; consider a charity shop?

Hi

Most people here probably have computers; consider a charity shop?or schools, community centres etc.

Thanks for the offer though :)

BTW: Where did you get them from? Did you build them yourself?

Kind regards

Have a read of what this guy (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1627625) is doing, it's not a bad way to go.

check your local senior center. If they can go on line and do eMail and send and receive pictures, they would be appreciated.

Think locally. There is plenty of need in every local community, which can be fulfilled absent the high shipping costs of Internet distribution. If you would have been willing to invest in shipping, that money could do more for more people by putting more RAM in those machines and getting them set up with Lucid or Karmic.

I am trying Slitaz which is a quick and easy sort of Linux for old machines ;)
I heard of Nutyx as well a Swiss distribution

Good sir, Jrev

Are you still giving them away or have you made up your mind to give it to the charity?
If you haven't, then I don't mind if you hand it to me :D
