I'm unable to login to linux due to a mess of errors. I've thrown ductape over it before, but it's totally hopeless now. I'm gonna uninstall and reinstall it.
I'm going to backup the home directory and the firefox 4.0 directory (pain to install, and pain to get flash on it).

What other places that store customized info that takes alotta clicks to restore?

Thanks
PS: Running 10.10 if it makes any difference.

By design, /etc contains system-wide customisation. This is worth backing up, although I wouldn't just restore the whole thing to a new system - instead, restore selectively the files you need (research if necessary).
