error when i try install ubuntu 64 bits

i have the following error when i try install ubuntu 64 bits:

failed due unknown user id(0)

Any ideas?

Hi and welcome to the forums :)

Please provide some more information on the process you went through and at what point you got this error.

I also recommend checking the MD5SUM of the iso and burning to CD at the lowest possible speed.
