I have installed wine correctly but I want the Rockmelt browser on my ubuntu 10.10
but it will need internet access
please give me a step by step tutorial

I think you can't get it running in Wine

Does that mean , I cant use rockmelt ?? : \

The link to winehq.org shows that four people have tried it and they rate the running of Rockmelt under Wine as Garbage. You could increase the number of testers by 25% by trying it yourself.

If you go to the Wine menu and chose browse D:Drive and look in the Programs folder you will see something called iexplore.exe. It loads Wine Internet Explorer that connects directly to the wine website.

I do not think that you will have problems connecting to the Internet through Wine. The problems are with running programs coded for Windows. Trying installing another web browser coded for Windows and test out Internet connectivity.
