How could one customize default behaviour when setting titles for new Terminal tabs?
Specifically, I would like to shorten tab titles to only show current directory (possibly one up, as well)
Current behaviour for Terminal tabs is to show title in the form of:
dubref@dubref-desktop: ~/foo/bar/oneupdir/currentdir
This is fine for when one has two or three tabs open, but obscures the currentdir when one has many tabs open.
It would be nice to at least cut off my login and computer name from the tab titles.
Alternative would be to somehow set it to show end of tab title not beginning. That is, if tab title has space to only show 10 characters, show currentdir not dubref@dub :)
Using: Ubuntu 10.04LTS
