I have just taken control of a few ubuntu/windows dual boot mechines. For some reason after changing the windows partition to NTFS, the fdisk utility that is used to boot the systems into windows(the students use a C program which runs the fdisk utility). Ubuntu and grub should be able to still boot the system into windows just by changing the systems active partition no mater the type of file system right? If not that what utility in the OS should be able do this, thanks?
