I want to install kde on ubuntu 10.10. What do i do?

open software center and search for kde. Install. Reboot. @ gdm login, there's a dropdown @ the bottom for choosing the environment that will load.

EDIT: I get lots of other results. I can't find kde in the list. More help please?

Try , sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop from the terminal

At your login manager (which could be either GDM or KDM depending on your answer to the prompt while installing), chose session type GNOME.

ok. Thanks. This worked.
Am uninstalling Kde at this moment though. Such a mess of an environment. Ubuntu feels like home now :))
