I have the following error when ubuntu tries to login mi account (this is an italian installation, so the translation of the errors, because the original ones are italians, coul be imperfect)
Could not update ICDauthority file /home/USER/.ICEauthority
There is an error with the configuration server (usr/lib/libconf2-4/gconf-sanity-check-2 exited with 256 status/state)
Nautilus can't create the following folders needed /home/user/desktop, /home/user/.nautilus
before executing Nautilus, please create this folsers or set the authority such that Nautilus can create them
At the end there is a message frame with "Record your passphrase" What is it? I have already a user with the password!!
