Move it to your /opt directory. Create an Iron Directory and extract it.

gksu nautilus will give you the permissions necessary to copy/move files to /opt

Thanks oldos2er (Ann)
Your assistance is highly appreciated.
I got it installed & is working great.
Since you seem to be pretty knowledgeable & experienced as compared to me.......am a newbie to this world of Linux, windows & computers, could you care to answer a few queries?
1. How do you rate Iron Linux browser both for Ubuntu & Windows vs FF, IE?
2. Can it coexist with G Chrome?
Hoping to hear from you,
Best Regards!

Iron for linux is released just yesterday.
Looks like they provide .deb packages now: hope for a future repository aren't vain?
Anyway, I do prefer Iron over Chrome and Chromium becouse it poke less the google servers.
