What has happened to the Ubuntu Weekly Newsletter (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=243)?

It used to come out like clockwork.

Nothing new has come out for four weeks.

The current issue is 217, according to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuWeeklyNewsletter

You'll notice that akgraner (http://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=771229) normally posts the links on the forum, perhaps this may help explain why it hasn't been posted on the forum recently: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1608155

So it is still in production, I can't see it being dropped without comment :)

Thanks for the reply. I learn something every day; I hadn't realised that there was a separate area for the weekly newsletters.

Bad news for Pete & Amber Graner. I wish them well.

Hmm, I'm looking at the archives, and I notice that issues 215 and 216 are missing. Where could I find them, I wonder?

I also notice that the archive's link to 217 actually points to 214.

Just try messing around with the link.

Hi all,

First let me apologize for the interruption of the production of UWN. Issues 215 and 216 were not published and we picked up with 217 (many thanks to highvoltage)on the week it should have been published. Just so the dates would stay consistent.

I'll be blogging later today (Sunday, November 21, 2010) in detail about some of the changes that have taken place and the reasoning behind them. I'll update the archives as well (with notes for issues not published)

Again, I apologize for the disruption in the UWN service and will updates will forthcoming.

Thanks for patience and understanding as we train and re-org over the next few weeks. Also, if there is anyone who is currently looking for a place to volunteer or would like to help with UWN please let us know.

with gratitude and appreciation to all readers,
Amber

No problem, it's not your fault, and you're not obligated to do anything. Relax! :D

Amber, thank you for doing the newsletters. They were a pleasant way to keep in touch with various aspects of Ubuntu, and I had been missing them.

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to you all, and I wish you and your family the best of luck.
